2016 NCDOT Customer Survey

The North Carolina Department of Transportation is currently conducting its annual customer survey of NC residents. This is an important opportunity to collect feedback and expectation levels of current transportation services offered by the Department. In order to maximize participation, we ask that you help us by please forwarding the survey link to your partners and constituents prior to its closure on December 31. The survey may take approximately 15 minutes to complete and can be found at http://go.ncsu.edu/customerservice2016/.

Hazard Mitigation Survey

Watauga County (along with Ashe, Wilkes, and Alleghany) is part of the High Country Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan. This plan has to be in place and approved by FEMA in order for Watauga County to receive federal funding for future disasters if federal funding becomes available. Every 5 years the plan has to be updated and resubmitted to FEMA for approval. It is time to update the plan! One of the responsibilities of each county this year is to send out a survey to the general public regarding hazard mitigation. Please click here to complete the survey.
